Car Windshield Shade Solar Cooking

I’ve tried out the cooker design that uses a car reflector as my first try because I already had one and it seemed the easiest and quickest to try.

I didn’t have a black pot so ended up using a stainless steel one and suspect this may have affected the results.

Managed to heat some water and cook rice to the point that I only needed to bring it to the boil and it was cooked but this took several hours.

I’m going to try one of the designs made out of cardboard next and see how that goes.
