Made the Parvarti Solar Cooker out of cardboard and reflective insulation.  Only made the two foot one.

Cut a template out of A3 drawing paper, of one of the panels.  Opened out a large cardboard box and tried to draw the radius with string and pencil, badly. Ended up using the top to bottom measurement and guessing the radius with the template.  Didn’t get it quite right but figured it would do.

Cut out the card board and used it as a template on the insulation.  Realised that I should have glued them together and then cut them out.  When the silver was cut it didn’t quite match. Oh well, stuff happens.

Glued them together then folded into circle.  Did I tell you that my folding skill is slightly off par and moved more towards crumpling than folding?

Found the silver wrinkled when I folded it.  Wished once again that I had stuck it onto cardboard before cutting.

Cut circle to put in center, struggled until fit right and glued and taped on.

Ended up putting clear packing tape over all exposed cardboard in hopes of making it somewhat weather proof.  Wish me luck.
